Saint Joseph Red "La Côte"

Coming from Coteaux located on the Places called La COTE,

Vintage : 2023 Available in August 2024

Grape Variety : 100 % Syrah
Soil : 100% granite with muscovite.
Harvest : By Hand.
Land of production : 42410 Chavanay.

Vinification :

All Alcoolic fermentation indigen
25% Whole bunches stride
21 days of skin Maceration under immerging hat
Malolactic fermentation in barrel

Elevage :12 month

500L french barrels and 25HL Austria Foudre
25% new oak

Keep : Up to 10 years.

Wine-tasting :

Very intense red colour.

Very expressive first nose with spicy and very ripe red fruit aromas. Elegant and long on the palette with a solid structure of soft tannins.

The wood is well integrated and gives a spicy and vanilla touch, which would go very well with game dishes.

Long persistence on the palette with spicy and smoked flavours.

Serving temperature : between 15 an20 °C
